What are the event dates and time of registration – see event schedule.
Where can I enter the Event? Via entry ninja.
When do entries close? 31 January 2025 at midnight or when the 1500 entry cap is reached, which ever comes first. Also take into consideration that not all the race categories can accommodate the same number of entrants. Early bird entries are valid until 31 August 2024
Is there an age limit for entering the Event? Yes, for the P2P Dash, runners must be 16 years or older. Runners must be 18 years or older to enter the P2P Lite, Challenge and Marathon, and 20 years or older to enter the P2P Ultra and P2P Hundred.
Do I have to submit a medical certificate to participate in the Event? We don’t require a formal medical certificate; please read & accept the indemnity and waiver carefully before you enter the event.
Will I be able to enter on the day? No, no late entries or on the day entries will be accepted.
Do you allow entry substitutions, upgrades, downgrades or cancelations? Yes, but please familiarize yourself with the race rules.
Do you have a compulsory gear list? Yes, please familiarize yourself with our compulsory gear list here.
Is there a compulsory gear check before the Event? Yes, gear Check takes place at Race Registration and is compulsory for every participant to attend.
Where do I collect my race number ahead of the Event? Dependant on your choice when you registered for the event, there will be two registration points:
CAPE TOWN REGISTRATION: 20 MARCH 2025, 12:00 – 18:00 : CAPE UNION MART ADVENTURE CENTRE, CANAL WALK
DOOLHOF REGISTRATION: 21 MARCH 2025, 14:00 – 19:00 , DOOLHOF WINE ESTATE, WELLINGTON
Do I need to collect my race number, or can I ask a friend to assist if I can’t make the registration times? You must collect your race number in person and cannot collect on behalf of anyone.
Where should I park for Race Registration? Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre Parking, Canal Walk and Doolhof Wine Estate Event Parking Area
How does the Race Merchandise work? Depending on the race category which you entered, merch items, including Hoka Crew Socks & Ciele Athletic GOCaps, will be available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis during registration. To increase your chances of getting your preferred merchandise, we recommend arriving at registration as early as possible. Everyone who enters the event will receive merchandise
Where should I park on Race Day? There will be free and secured parking a stones through away from the Race Village at Doolhof Wine Estate Event Parking Area,
Are the routes marked? Yes, routes will be clearly marked. Please make sure to familiarise yourself with the Digital Race Brief to be communicated on Wednesday, 20 March 2025 at 10:00
Are there spectator points on the route? Yes, please see our race maps.
Which Aid Station or Water Points allow crew support for runners? Please see our race maps.
How does prizegiving work and is there prizemoney? Please familiarise yourself with our race schedule for prizegiving times. Prizemoney (if any) will be communicated and announced during the build up towards the event date.
Will I get a medal? Yes, as per race tradition, all runners will receive the famous Victory Mug at the finish line.
Is accommodation available in and around the race village? Yes, limited to a first come first serve basis, Africamps and Doolhof Boutique Hotel will have accommodation facilities next to the race village. Plenty of alternative accommodation available less than 5km and 5min drive from the Race Village. Please see our accommodation partners and make sure to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Is the race village family friendly? Yes, there will be amble of space for kids to roam free (with adult super vision) and also a traditional jungle gym, and ponies on the farm.
Will there be shower facilities at the race village? Yes, there will be shower facilities next to the Race Village.
